Raju is responsible for conducting research on themes relating to institutional functions, and identifying new opportunities for OSIIR reports on institutional themes that are of broader interest to academic and non-academic communities in the university. Other responsibilities include coordinating OSIIR projects and helping incubate ideas for potential projects. Raju has also worked on analysing and collating university-level data for ratings exercises. Raju is also Assistant Editor of JGU’s monthly newsletter, Inside JGU.

Prior to joining OSIIR, Raju undertook the Robert Schuman Traineeship at the European Parliament’s Directorate General for External Policies attached to the Asia, Australia and New Zealand Unit. During this traineeship, Raju worked with a secretariat providing support to Members of the European Parliament in their diplomatic contacts with parliamentary counterparts in countries in the Asia-Pacific region, Iran and embassies based in Brussels, Belgium.

Raju holds an MA in European Studies from Manipal University, India during which he specialised in European Economics and Business, EU’s political governance and cultural integration within the EU. Raju is also an awardee of an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship to pursue an exchange year at the University of Lumiere Lyon 2, France in 2015-16. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in computer application.
